Flood Restoration
A flood can be caused by a number of different and unexpected events such as a overflowing bath, washing machine leak, burst pipe or in the worst case by a overflowing river. At Wrennalls our first priority is to understand the source of the damage and to categorise each incident as follows;
Clean Water
Burst pipes, sink overflows, appliance leaks.
Grey water
Water which may carry some bacteria, from dishwashers, washing machines, damaged fish tanks.
Red Water
Water that may contain chemicals such as air conditioning and central heating sytems.
Black water
Unsanitary water, containing large quantities of bacteria and other contaminants. This can include sewage entering a building, water from an external roof, ground surface water and water from streams and rivers.
By fully understanding the exact source and nature of the water damage can a
restoration process be implemented. This may involve the removal of water and
damaged property and floor coverings before specialist sanitising and drying
equipment can be utilised. Our principal aim is to minimise the damage and return
the property to a habitable condition as soon as is safe and practical to do so. Our
network of building, painting and flooring contractors all combine to provide a one
stop solution from one single source.
